Dr. Sadia Kalsoom was born in Pakistan and immigrated to Northern Virginia in 1996. She grew up in Falls Church and graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelors of Science in Biology. She then attended the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University, where she graduated with honors. In optometry school, she was awarded a scholarship through the US Army. Upon graduating with her doctorate in 2016, Dr. Kalsoom served in various roles as an optometrist and a company commander while stationed in South Korea and at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. She most recently relocated to the area from Guam with her husband who is currently serving in the Navy. When she's not in the clinic, you can find her playing board games with her husband, trying new recipes in her kitchen, or doing hot yoga to unwind.
