Dr. Osvaldo Diaz is a licensed therapeutic optometrist. He graduated with honors from Florida Atlantic University in 2009 with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He then attended Nova Southeastern University College of Optometry where he was awarded the Optometric Chancellor's Scholarship and named to the President's List. In 2013, he earned his doctorate in optometry as well as a second bachelor's degree in vision science. He is currently a member of the Tidewater Optometric Society, Virginia Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association.
Dr. Diaz enjoys practicing all aspects of optometry on patients of all ages. He performs comprehensive eye examinations prescribing both glasses and contact lenses in addition to diagnosing and treating eye diseases such as dry eyes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, etc. Furthermore, Dr. Diaz is bi-lingual being fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Diaz resides in Chesapeake, VA with his wife, Rebecca, a local optometrist and their daughter, Avalon. He is an active member of the Aragona-Pembroke Lions Club, where he volunteers his time and optometric skills. Additionally, he enjoys spending time with friends and family and participating in the Kickball League of Hampton Roads.
